As part of Dubai Health Authority (DHA) policy in supporting high schools graduates and to meet the community’s need for qualified nursing staff, cooperation has been established between DHA and different universities and colleges in the UAE to prepare well trained nursing staff that can provide high quality health care services in the field of nursing and dental services.
Programs Offered:
Dental Diploma program
Dental Diploma Program:
In collaboration with the Higher Colleges of Technology, DHA has sponsored the first program in the field of Dental Nursing. Graduates of this program receive a diploma in Dental Nursing. The program is designed to produce efficient in serving the community and providing qualified services in a Dental field as a Certified Dental Assistant
During the period of study (2-3 years) DHA covers the following:
The tuition fees.
Providing students with a laptop.
Providing financial incentives during the study period, starting from Dhs 2500 monthly with yearly increase Dhs 500.
Graduation award (Dhs 12000 - Dhs 18000).
Award for those whose overall GPA is (A).
Ensuring training opportunities in the DHA Hospitals and Health Centers during the period of the study.
Ensuring job opportunities at DHA for graduates immediately after completion of the study.
Selection Criteria:
Be UAE national or Arab resident in the UAE.
Passing High School Exam with a minimum of 70 % (Science or Art section).
Fulfill selection criteria and requirements of the Higher College of Technology.
The candidate will be asked to sign a contract with the DHA.
Nursing Bachelor Program:
With the coordination of Deewan of H.H. the Ruler of Sharjah and Based on a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between DHA and Sharjah University. DHA sponsored the Nursing program in Sharjah University, where students receive a Bachelor Degree Nursing and will be efficient in serving the community and providing qualified services in the field of Nursing.
-During the period of study (4 years), the Deewan of H.H. the Ruler of Sharjah covers all study expenses, books and accommodation (for the UAE Nationals).
-During the period of study, DHA covers the following:

Award for those whose overall GPA is (A).
Training opportunities in the DHA Hospitals and Health Centers during the period of the study.

Selection Criteria:
Be UAE national or Arab resident in the UAE.
Passing High School Exam with a minimum of 70 % (Science section).
Receiving High School Certificate within the last 3 years.
Passing TOEFL exam with a minimum score of 500 or IELTS exam with 5.5.
Fulfill selection criteria and requirements of Sharjah University.
Sign the undertaking with DHA.
